Reputable service providers don't over-bill card holders. But non-reputable card-holders always shaft and screw over subscription based businesses. That's why dunning is such a huge thing. Maybe you are addressing the wrong elephant in the room.

Casual reminder that you don't need to speak at conferences or even attend conferences to have a successful career in tech.

Yes I know about this - that removes them but default phpstorm config then complains :-) and wants to add them back

Actually - that is 50% of the fix, the other 50% is that you cannot "turn off" the redundant tags when GENERATING a docblock using the context menu item "Generate PHPDoc" or "Update PHPDoc" - those menu items generate redundant tags

Compare these two. The one without all the additional phpDocs should work perfectly in @phpStorm, and is the future, as the IDE should be reading the type hints and not the docs. (fake code for tweet) pic.twitter.com/ffK1S2ukdR

No. I mean, if php 7 type hints already tell you the param/return types then there is no need at all for phpdoc, and therefore the “update phpdoc” command should not add those. It’s duplication and against best practice now.

Hey @phpstorm, is it possible to only show phpDoc param/return if the function doesnt already declare those types (PHP 7.4), is there something I can turn off? No need for these duplications?
