The high (for their context) performing teams I observe don’t think in terms of “doing ” or “doing X” They are drawing on many, many traditions (e.g. , , , , , , , , etc.) They... (1/4)

But also maybe I just didn't get the point of it properly. Or didn't have enough time. Overall such a great framework. I'll run with it and iterate it. Thank you :)

Learn/prove was great. Also assumptions/dependencies flushed out more learn/prove. Putting them on timeline led to sequenced capabilities 😍. What are we operating was the hardest/least useful bit. Maybe we knew enough about that...

First map for real today. Followed by first roadmap. Strong, focused conversations leading to enough clarity to act. Amazing! Now 🍻

And if you'd rather learn alone, everything is free on the Liberating Structures website (don't be put off by the clunky graphic design...the structures themselves are powerful).

If the workshop is too much money, there are plenty of free meetups around the country too. For example, which I helped start with .

I am loosely involved (running a session) but have no financial interest in it. I'm just interested in finding ways to help us work better - and more inclusively - as groups of people :)

One of the most useful skills for a researcher (or anyone) is facilitating groups to do things together. But it's scary to do and slippery to learn. I've found two things help - Gamestorming and Liberating Structures - and here's a workshop for the latter

also, you really can just start using them. you can use 1-2-4-all in ANY session you are running and What, So What, Now What? is amazing to debrief any shared experience of a group of people

this, and any other tips you might have about doing this as a team in a three hour session, most gratefully received :)

for example, do you first answer all the 7 questions at length wth no regard to time, and then string your answers out into a timeline so you have a sequence? or do you answer all 7 questions for each chunk on the timeline? i feel probably the former....

about to use your 7 questions roadmap thing in a workshop today. one thing i'm not 100% clear on from the post - you have a 2 year timeline in quarters, and 7 questions to answer - what is the relationship between the two?

you should definitely learn more about it. you want to follow and and then go along to one of the meetups. or even better spend your training budget on this
