Less code per function. To run my getCurrentUser query, v8 has to parse my entire server, all queries and all mutations and all database queries. If I only ship the getCurrentUser query and nothing else, it'll be much much faster.

It affects scalability. Right now I need to scale my entire server to handle the load of our most-used query, "getCurrentUser"β€”even though e.g. the "adminStats" query is only run once a day at most. Also, if you run each query as a lambda, you ship much much less code.

Yeah of course you can just put an entire express server in a lambda, but that defeats the point of lambdas. They're meant to be small, fast to start and fast to stop. Putting your entire 30MB+ Apollo server into a lambda is neither of those things.

No issues per-se, running a GraphQL API serverless-ly is not possible with the current Node libraries out there. They all only support running as one big server.

I had RSS on the old blog, working on adding it to the new blog! The stack makes it a bit harder though, which is why I have not tackled it yet.

I have zero experience with SQLite (or SQL for that matter), so I am not sure I can be helpfulβ€”but if there is something I can do to move the release along and make myself helpful I would be up for that!

Also it would be very cool to see new subscribers split up by the location they came from. 36 new ones from /blog/first-post, 65 new ones from /newsletter,...
