Right - why not Warren with Bernie as her VP? Feels like a better combo.

I do appreciate the safety considerations. Dealing with limited discrete things always kind of sucks when things break.

Air travel can be such an emotional rollercoaster. +1: upgraded me to first class! +1: The flight is going to come in 30m early. I’ll definitely see my daughter before bedtime! -10: The plane is damaged. Deplane. Wait for replacement vehicle.

1) Pick your visit time (eg on open) 2) Memorize the store layout 3) Have a list 4) Trust that the price is fair, ie ignore price 5) Free up some space at home for bulk storage

Congrats! Yes, that book is “odd”... it’s been nice to have surveys like ’s books. Hard to find good scientific information.

The financing strategy for Lambda is clever (and is how eg university in Australia works - a good system to copy); but financial instruments do not a technology company make, especially divorced from existing education institutions.

It's a nice article and highlights learning from users, esp. the value of a good customer segmentation. I'm a little entertained by someone rediscovering (a version of) NPS though.

Yes, that’s true. It’s also true that a number of software startups ran services at a loss and had difficulty converting that revenue to product. I don’t think it’s a “solved problem” (how to transition) - we’ll find out!

It's amazing to me the amount of people who don't seem to understand that just because you may start with "bad" services-type ARR, you don't have to continue that way. Business models are not fixed in stone, nor are they constants...

While that’s true, it’s easy to believe (as I do) that most bad behavior (60%?) comes from a small group (<5%?)
