Chocolate milk is great to drink after the race. It has carbs, proteins, and fats. Everything you need after tackling 26.2 miles!

Fruits, like strawberries, are good to eat the morning of the race. Berries are quick-sugar foods, and can give you an extra boost in the morning.

Loading on carbs should happen a few days before the race instead of the night before. Your body has more time to turn carbs into glycogen, AKA muscle fuel.
