Probably too late to change, but I've lately been wondering if "Artificial Intelligence" is a bit over stated The intelligence isn't really artificial - it's gathered from data It'd be like calling windmills or sails "Artificial Power" Not entirely wrong but a bit misleading

Not particularly goofy no, it was meant as a way of softening the sharpness of professional zoom calls, but its totally natural and normal now

but i do feel like a core part of my creative output is just... starved right now. There's a lot of people here like you or ocean who i could do crazy things with, but its an uphill battle to keep momentum over zoom and slack.

for sure for sure. I do like the figma office vibes a lot more than the facebook office vibes, but a lot of that is true no matter what.

Need tileable textures? We've added two web tools using histogram-preserving blending: This one makes an image's borders tileable, shown here on a picture of a cliff face. Works for most natural non-periodic textures such as sand, rock, etc.

Loved Circe. I've always liked the idea of greek mythology but the source material is always unreadable. So nice to see a modern take with amazing characters breathe life into it.

'the main cause' might have just been me being hopeful. If something so simple can dramatically affect severity it'd be a game-changer. And honestly, there's really no downside to just telling people "stop being vitamin D deficient, at worst you'l help your overall health"

Is there any reason the whole "Vitamin D deficiency is the main cause of adverse covid responses" thing hasn't been either followed up on or rejected? Usually these things have a pretty quick set of "No this is not a real solution" series of reporting.

At some point this just becomes 'inside' with extra steps.

thinking about how i often remember where to find a particular screenshot or meme based on *who* i sent it to... my chaotic text messsge history is somehow a better “file” system than a bunch of carefully labeled folder names
