What were your most awkward moments of middle school? How can you help students who face these (and more too!) embarrassments? We may not be in their shoes, but we have been in a shoe store before.

Yesterday we kicked off our “Text Structure Bootcamp”! We’re exploring the different ways writers organize information in text. Today we worked in groups to write about topics in five different structures.

With 3 days to go until our event, FMS students, families & staff have already surpassed our fundraising goal of $25,000. We will be making a hard run at defending our #1 ranking from last year!

I don’t grade for responsibility. I grade the work. I work with students to develop better habits, but MANY times their life is not easy and school can be less of a priority. We are a team, so we don’t compete with each other for control.
