Is this really that big of a deal? I flunked school because I had no idea I wanted to be a teacher in year 12. I scored 55 on my year 12 score. A 2nd year grad on one of my teams was a chippy b4 T’ing & is an absolute gun. Such a misleading article.

2/2 Def an element of fear within those who felt out of their comfort zone & didn’t participate. But how much do we make S’s do things they’re uncomfortable doing & then punish them? But p.s our Grid is looking awesome.

1/2 Reflecting on our FlipGrid experiment. Some T’s were MASSIVELY pushed out of their comfort zone. Some chose not to participate. Others felt uncomfortable that P’s might watch it. Others did it despite their reservations, knowing it would benefit theirS’s

This week feeling super grateful about being a PDP reviewer. Mid Cycle PDP’s are awesome. So good to have the opportunity to see how T’s are smashing goals and making a positive impact on S’s learning. This is the stuff the media should be reporting about. Not the negative BS.

We watched a snippet of your 1st ep just to elaborate on the "crisis" of engagement and how it relates to primary classrooms. How a lot of use gamified elements to help "manage" behavior without even realising it.

This makes me think of how we assess kids in primary schools. When we assign scores/marks/ (points) benchmarks (Reading Levels) in summative assessments. We're essentially playing the PBL's game unconsciously. Reporting is essentially just a Level in the "Game of School'!!

Super excited to introduce the Reader’s Notebook to my G6 students. Their love for reading has grown beyond what I could have ever imagined from Literature Circles and Reciprocal Reading. Now a little something for themselves. Bring on Read to Self 💪🏼

Thanks to for the tip on Game #2. is within so many schools in Aus. Incorporating it into our PE & Sport sessions is so easy. Putting a little spin on traditional minor games to support classroom T's with literacy.
