No one human should have as much talent as does. It's just not fair.

I don't think there's anything about it that would make it less appealing to a grown man specifically. I have plenty of guy friends who still love it. I just missed the boat as a kid.

None of those moments work as well without the score. In , Lady Gaga is able to carry the emotional weight of a film without the the help of a musical score. That would be a feat for the most seasoned actors. For someone relatively new to the game, that's incredible.

Music, unlike any of the other technical aspects of a film, has a way of cutting straight into a person's heart. That's why so many iconic film moments are accompanied by an iconic score. Think Vader's first appearance. Think Jaws. Think the shower scene from Psycho.

There are all sorts of ways for directors to emotionally manipulate their audience aside from writing and acting. They can use camera work, editing, lighting, and more. However, the most effective means of doing so is through score.

Lady Gaga was given an incredibly difficult task in this film due to a choice that Cooper made when it came to assembling the final product: There's no score.

So I saw yesterday. Overall, it's pretty good. It's got some pacing issues and it could stand to have a good 15 minutes trimmed out but it's still a pretty impressive directorial debut from Bradley Cooper. However, the real star is Lady Gaga.

Disagree on both. They have nostalgic charm if you enjoyed them as a kid. They don't hold up otherwise.

I can see why people love it. It's not for me. Like I said, if I'd seen it when I was a kid, I'd probably feel way differently.
