🚗🅿️ As a driving beginner, I couldn't figure out how to properly park my car in a tight new parking spot. But as a proud geek, I knew just the thing that would help — a mathematical model with an visualization!

Cool! Btw visualizing cars was one of the things that got me into interactive visualization — (I started redblobgames shortly after making that and seeing how much more I was able to learn from the interaction than from static diagrams)

Wow, that's a fascinating topic! Which option do you prefer? The "alternate" one seems pretty dangerous since you can't see a rapidly moving car in the side mirror until it's almost near you (by this point you can see it in the window itself). Rear mirror is often obstructed.

What about more than one maneuver?

The problem with the second maneuver is that there's almost no room to move forward after turning:

Love it ❤ Also, learn from lorry drivers how they 1) plan wayyy longer ahead before positioning themselves for difficult manouvers, 2) Use side mirrors for precision turning
