The impact of lazy, complacent managers that I see in our orgs is not neutral or harmless -- it is harmful to people in those orgs, damaging to the orgs' performance, and disrespectful and fraudulent to customers. Please let's stop it.

You wouldn't settle for it, right?. So why do we tolerate managers who have given up learning in our orgs? They are causing hideous damage in our orgs, just as a dentist would by not keeping her skills up to date.
