BHP daily the last month looks like a repeat of February-March. Bounced off $36.40s both times, retested upper channel (yes, a very narrow one)

BHP ADRs in New York daily formed an island reversal but the gap filled overnight as the large red candle touched and respected the sloping trendline. Bull scenario is could now turn and head back up. Locally, if we follow suit we'll see a 0.70 decline today

Down Jones Transports daily shows a breakout above resistance at the 200 day sma. If this inverse head and shoulders plays out it heralds a massive rally to far exceed last September's all time high

BHP daily today couldn't keep the momentum going and the candle is saying hasta la vista. Top of channel too.

BHP intraday rose above its February high...but was sold off Is it a breakout or false break? Some negative divergence on the indicators, Still, a reach to $42 would not surprise

The end of day sell off looks bearish, with the XJO daily producing a gravestone doji so short term small retreat within what looks to be a bull flag with a 100 point trading range.

Dow transports, update of my post from a couple of weeks ago. The index did bounce off its 50 day sma to just shy of resistance and today closed back down on that 50 day. Could be support here again to repeat the process. If not, next support is 300 points below

DJIA daily bounced close to some fibs, lower bollinger and 200 day sma. I'm not too hopeful here. The most bullish scenario is a reverse head and shoulders requiring a further 1200 point drop before a big rise, but doubt it.

Dow Transports weekly looks bearish with possible1000 points fall back to January support in coming weeks...But short term the daily (shown here)looks positive and could head back up 400 points to resistance around 10,500

Look like bearish double tops on DJIA and, shown here, SPX daily. Optimistic scenario would be to fall to 200 day sma as support at 2750 but more support further below around 2600.

The hackneyed, cliche, banal, juvenile voice overs by "presenters" in Australian tv travel shows make them unwatchable. Reads like a dull brochure with stuff like "and the food is to die for" any age "from 7 to 70". Dishwater blandness.

The banks (and miners) show why the XJO has never risen to its pre-GFX high. ANZ is 33% below the 2015 top and well below the $31 pre-GFC high. Currently in a vaguish support level

CBA. Hard to believe this is Australia's biggest company. 30% down since 2015 and just $3 above the pre-GFC top. Next support is $1 down from here at $64.50

Dow transports. For adherents of Dow theory (and I suspect it's still valid) they're back to the February low bounce level with a similar promising bullish candle (wait for confirmation)

The is struggling to hold 0.70. Can't see any past support here for 70. Has had 69 and 68 though

The US dollar index has risen while US markets have fallen. But is now at August resistance. Indicators haven't topped out though.
