Israeli snipers shot Wesal in the head. “The UN Children’s Fund, Unicef, says more than 1,000 children have been wounded since protests began in late March, some resulting in amputations. Save the Children says its own study found 250 children have been shot w/live ammunition.”

“You are cowards,” she screamed at her aunts when they refused to join protests at the border. “She was the most dedicated of all of us....“Now she is dead, I’m ready...After what she did, we are not afraid.” RIP Wesal Sheikh Khalil, 14.

Classic case of, "he's a fundy, but he's *our* fundy!"

Exactly. That’s why I call Jordan Peterson the white man’s Islamist. He says “chaos,” they say “fitna” (same-same): they all want to control women (the ultimate chaos/fitna for them all).

Exactly. He was being willfully disingenuous, he is an idiot, and/or he is both.

Considering the first person shot was shot for the specific reason of spurning the shooter's unwanted advances, I'd say it's relevant to point out. Or do we just not care about the motivation for murder anymore, since there's "nothing we can do" to stop white domestic terrorists.

Omg I once heard that brave lady speak and I know she can’t be moved just by some arrest. They’re never gonna stop her. Those MFs better release them! 💪🏿🌹

Please ask how it feels to spend 60 mins of her time listening to a man who had no intention of improving the situation for women?

Equally hollow are the US celebrities, politicians, and financiers who courted him during his recent visit. They give him additional cover to commit human rights atrocities

Feminism threatens authoritarians so much that they arrest and detain a 70yo who was one of the first women to break the driving ban in 1990. The 7 feminists & women’s rights activists arrested last week include Aisha al-Manea.

Why -6wks before end of ban on women driving- is regime detaining women’s rights activists who’ve long campaigned to end ban on women driving? 1. To show freedom is given (by regime) not taken (by activists) 2. To show that activism doesn’t work 3. To postpone end of ban?

Have you noticed that the Twitter header photo for Saudi Arabia's Arab News () is of Donald Trump, not King Salman? Very revealing.

regime arrests last week of 7 women’s rights activists (6 weeks before the coming to be of years of their activism - end of ban on women’s driving) is designed to: 1. Show that freedom is given (by regime) not taken (by activists) 2. Say that activism doesn’t work.

How hollow the power of Crown Prince Mohammed Bin Salman must be that he has a 28yo feminist abducted, jailed & silenced before he visits the US, and detains her (again) & 6 other women’s rights activists 6 weeks before women’s driving ban is supposed to end.

That’s how threatening feminism is to regime. Rendition is usually associated w/ ”terrorism” suspects. In 2014, Loujain was arrested for trying to drive across UAE-Saudi border and referred to a terrorism court but was released before being tried after 73 days in detention
