Today we have joined forces with charities urging the government to give further guidance for people shielding due to health conditions. People with CF haven’t left their homes for nearly 12 weeks now & need assurances on what their lives will look like in the next few weeks. 1/3

We've joined with 40 charities to call on the govt. to ensure that the most vulnerable people with health conditions aren't forgotten as lockdown restrictions ease. Ppl who are shielding need clear guidance on next steps & need to know what support will be available to them 🗣️

I was devastated to hear that my constituent had died. He was a brilliant campaigner for Motor Neurone Disease sufferers & a great champion for the disabled. He was also a lovely bloke. I'll miss him greatly. My thoughts are with Catherine & the kids. RIP.

Never was life more challenging than when I was an MND carer for my late husband. And that was without the threat of Covid-19. Thinking of all MND carers and their loved ones at this time.
