Snow forecast for MK for the early hours of Monday so we'll be gritting the grid road network and other key roads today Take extra care when out and about on the roads, redways and footpaths Drive to condition and clear snow/ice from car windows before setting off ❄️☃️

We do send out enforcement officers if there's particular issues like this and they can take action - if you are referring to specific schools/streets we can flag it up to our Parking team

Over the year (2017-18) we've made over 6,700 repairs to road and path defects using over 3,000 tonnes of tarmac So far we've spread 3700 tonnes of rock salt (grit) on the road network since November We also converted 5,500 street lights to energy efficient LEDs

Our Road Safety team work with schools in MK as part of our Park Smart campaign to reduce the number of cars parking around schools and encouraging children to walk, cycle or scoot to school instead

All 350km of our redways are inspected annually and any repairs regardless of where they are get scheduled in for action.
