My 5yo modeled me in unicorn poop putty. I'm quite flattered - new headshot for my departmental faculty page?

$7,488 per year. That’s how much my daughter’s insulin would cost in the United States. It's so bad, her doctors told her she could save money by ordering it from Canada, where it costs $30 a bottle. We must pass H.R. 3 and immediately!

Local legend is that winds from the North come through the agriculture complexes up around Greeley, so it picks up the odor of the massive cow herds.

Either I'll asphyxiate soon, or cortisol is capable of coordinating oxygen. Drawing my blood right now would all but certainly result in a Nature paper.

A recent haunting realization: I didn't identify as a URM until I moved to the mainland (from Hawaii) for grad school. I remember not wanting to select my ethnicity on my application because I didn't understand why it mattered. (1/2)

Eh, parenting is more on the end of never seeing whether that top falls over. Or caring. Mostly because you're too tired to care.

Happy ! Shepard and the Normandy crew weave my favorite story, gaming or otherwise. This is the part where says they're going to remaster the trilogy, and tell us what galaxy ME5 will be in.

Aside from ALL of the feels from ME3, love when Mordin and Liara flex their degrees. "Please, not an undergraduate." "I was an archaeologist, I know what I'm doing." Joke session between Joker and Garrus gets me every time too 😆

SUPER excited about this session. I've learned a lot in my first three years as PI that I'm eager to share with my junior colleagues. Full disclosure - I'm totally still figuring this out as I go!

The dot plot paper/tool are fantastic! Can the tool output files that can be read in Illustrator (svg/eps)? It looks like the only image files are tiffs.
