Scholes' peak was in 2010, his excellent form then tricked people into thinking he was that good his whole career

no. He was a talented player but often flattered to deceive. His peak was at start of 2010/11, I think. Incredible passing.

I disagree. I think he very rarely *controlled* matches until very late. He played nice passes but he didn't control that well

United need others to do that. His passing was always good but not really incisive, which is why a deeper role suited him more
