The space jam website from 1996 is still online with the design from back then. Except it now has a GDPR cookie popup. pic.twitter.com/JZNYHwG6mn

was thinking of running some sort of proxy index but since the registry itself is a git repository it seems tricky to do that. I see some potential ways but can't decide on which ones to try.

Did anyone start working on a rust registry that lets one explicitly whitelist packages and versions of packages and publish internal crates as well? The only registry I found is alexandrie which only solves the latter.

I love how the iPhone 11/Pro needs a regular restart to restore wireless charging. In 2020 my phone finally feels like a PC.

I'm sorry but talking in terms of "millicpus" is ridiculous.

Linux really is bad at this "everything is a file" thing. There is so much stuff you can only do if you parse files in /proc. Great API.

Because geo locality does not really benefit anyone. You can just use stripe from here and it's hard to compete in terms of quality with them.

Sometimes external monitors are fucked up over usb-c. I think it depends on the multiport thing you end up using. I had similar issues with a windows machine :-/

Would love to see an LTE modem in a macbook but Inhve to say that with the handoff tethering you don’t notice it much any more. Almost instantly picks up my hotspot now.

I selected paperless mail delivery for my British bank account which I rarely use. Lloyds sent me a snail mail reminding me that i didn’t click on their pdf statements in three months. Ok. pic.twitter.com/I7rx7RjvHz

From our tests it looks like just disabling limits doesn't do the right thing and disabling CFS is not possible since GKE does not give you the right knobs.
