An interesting pattern found among those who perform at a very high level is that they tend to be much more driven by internal pressures for mastery and continued growth than external pressures to be great. They are the ones pushing themselves, continually, to grow and be better.

Totally agree. And I think like psilocybin assisted therapy- set and setting is so important ie having a supportive non shaming therapist guide. And if someone has a ‘bad trip’ they are supported and not just shamed told ‘u did the practice wrong’
|
