While digging around for MER images, I found the infamous jack-o-lantern fuel tank image of MER in the cruise configuration. Link to the JPL source:

We probably shouldn't talk about my undergraduate GPA... I'm wondering if we can correlate being a failure by this dolts definition with being an excellent rover operator.

And it turns out I broke my streak of notebook use around 6 months shy of filling up my first archive box. Over 4 years of notes in this box. At this point I am thinking I'm just going to do a hard reset to a basic system.

This week will be hard for those living by public health guidelines, especially in areas where additional restrictions may have eliminated any sort of gathering (Even outdoors) Hold your ground. Slow the spread. This sucks, but the goal is the most folks alive at the end of this

Too bad this alert didn't include any actions/precautions/restrictions info that individuals can act on. I'm guessing most folks just dismissed it. So let's try: stay at home, wear a mask when out, maintain physical distance, minimize time indoors with folks in other households

Agreed leaving was a move of self care. I found some notes the other day. In hindsight, had I taken better care of myself over the 5 year run up to needing to leave, I probably would have made it the last 17 months until EOM.

It's one of those days where I nostalgic for my time on MER and regretful that I didn't take care of myself well enough to see the mission through to the end.

Always a good morning when you get to work out ways to take awesome images of the Moon surface with a camera mounted on the end of a robotic arm.
