BabelColour 🎞 Oct 10
This is Sunday 31st March 1912 - a fortnight before the sinking of the Titanic. In Arizona, USA, a Hopi Snake Clan priest was photographed by Franklin Price Knott (although it was not published by the National Geographic until 1916). This 108-year-old portrait is not colourised.

I have brought together into a single tweet 4 of my personal favourite Babelisations from the First World War. They were taken between 1914 -1917 in colour and have not been colourised. Full details about them can be found in the original tweets on my feed.

Cooperative banks are the norm across the world. They consistently prove to be supportive of the everyday or foundational economy & are less fragile than their big business focused counterparts. They’re just not here. Yet.
