Summer is a great time for students to enjoy some relaxation and family time. However, we do not want our students to lose ground academically during their summer break. Reading is a great way to keep student’s brains active and learning during this time.

Midwest Academy Summer Camps create engaging learning environments for our students throughout the summer. Last week our Hiking Hoopla camp enjoyed exploring different parks and the Rhythm Discovery Center. This week was full of the hoopla you would hope to see at a summer camp!

"Let 'em rip" has been echoing throughout the building all week, which must mean we have our Beyblade summer camp going on! Throughout this week, students designed their own Beyblades, trained each other on different techniques, and enjoyed catching up with their classmates.

During the last week of school, our middle schoolers enjoyed a day of creek stomping, campfires, and outdoor activities at cool creek park. They loved getting to explore nature and spend time together before summer break.

Our student council has been running a fundraiser all year where students could pay to wear a hat in school and support Doctors without Borders. They raised over $200! We are so proud of them and all fo their efforts to support this great organization!

Congratulations class of 2019! We have 11 seniors who will be walking in our graduation ceremony this year. We hope you will join us to honor all of their hard work and celebrate their high school graduation day. There is no charge to attend the graduation ceremony.
