“I feel like brides wear white puffy dresses because they think their wedding is the only time they can wear that, so I looked for the coolest ball gown I could find that wasn’t white," said the bride.

Bob Hawke was the greatest peacetime leader Australia has ever had. As a teenager Bob inspired me, as a PM he guided me. I will miss him. I wish so very much that Bob had been able to see one more election day. My condolences to Blanche, his children and grandchildren.

If any of Greg’s employees want to contact me to get legal advice about their employers blatant illegal threats - feel free. In some countries workers can be coerced to vote the way their boss tells them to. Australia is not yet one of those countries.

To think of Bob Hawke is to smile. He always lifted spirits. Bob inspired awe - he changed Australia, modernised our economy; created Medicare, superannuation; protected our environment. Bob always stood up for working people, always. He is a hero & legend. ❤️

The great news is that if a Shorten Labor government are elected: - they won’t owe Rupert Murdoch or his goons - they won’t owe big business - they won’t owe Pauline Hanson or Fraser Anning - they won’t owe Clive Palmer ... And that really IS something to vote for.

Shorten has been ALP leader since 2013, had the kitchen sink thrown at him, interrogated in a Royal Commission, released major policy work over the last three years, but now the media is saying he needs to “scrutinised further” and stop hiding?

Every time John Howard says something in public I just remember that time he wrote a letter in support of a convicted child sex offender in which the ex-PM described him as "a lively conversationalist". That puts things back into perspective for me.

That’s lovely that Mr Morrison’s faith has helped him & his family. But I’m curious about the type of faith that helps politicians but ignores people who are , people & punishes people seeking from war & persecution. What’s that faith called?

1. Most people: ‘MPs’ religious beliefs are a private matter.’ 2. PM to media: ‘Hey, film me praying & waving my arms around!’ 3. Most people: ‘That image makes me feel uncomfortable.’ 4. Morrison: ‘You’re politicising my religion.’
