At tonight's meeting, we recognize Mendel Fischman, a Holocaust survivor who has presented to students for 10 years. introduced "Manny" to OPUSD, and tonight, his family announced the Manny Fischman Strength Through Adversity Scholarship.

Playing a band instrument requires: the ability to read music which tells you when to blow, how tight your lips should be, and which fingers to wiggle. While also watching the conductor out of the corner of your eye and listening to the other players around you so you can adjust.
