It doesn't take a data scientist to spot the fact that we launched Basecamp Personal yesterday 😂. Really happy to hear so many people are willing to give Basecamp a try for the personal or freelance projects ✌️❤️

I don’t disagree, but your argument relies on little more than a double meaning of the word “growth”. What we’re talking about here is the slippery and often-abused notion of “economic growth”—usually treated as an unalloyed good when it is anything but.

There’s nothing intrinsically good about “growth”.

They moved but kept the name. Other examples: the LA Lakers (formerly of Minneapolis, Minnesota, the “Land of 10,000 Lakes”), the LA Clippers (formerly of San Diego with its harbor’s many clipper ships) & the LA Dodgers (named for the trolley-dodging residents of Brooklyn, NY).

I thought I was the only one who noticed. The other main problem AFAICT: dogs that bark incessantly.

Jamie and I used Basecamp to build our dream house. I don’t even understand how construction works without a tool like this 😂. Thrilled to imagine how other families might get a bit of calm in their life from this.

I suspect this is a miscalculation by . Gen Xers like me might be tempted to sign up for The Simpsons archive alone, but not if it’s like this.

All the classic Simpsons episodes on Disney+ are in cropped widescreen format -- this means you miss out on tons of great visual jokes, like how Duff, Duff Lite and Duff Dry all come from the same tube.

Shellfish is still meat, no? I don’t think that counts as a deviation from carnivore.

Nice. I’d suggest tweaking “economic incentive” to read “status incentive”. For example, the original Royal Society was exceptionally effective at adjudicating and spreading truth despite limited economic rewards. Its members, many of whom were already rich, got paid in status.

I'm vary thankful to For letting me use the platform, when I could ordinarily not afford the kind of quality that the learn enough courses offer. I can't take this for granted!💃

A key to coping when on your journey to success: Get very familiar with what failure feels like. Don't grow to like it, but become used to it because it will never go away. Behind every success is a bunch of failures.

I was there, too. Felt a chill run up my spine as I realized how off-key the talk was. I was also an unknown at the time (the Rails Tutorial was more than a year in the future). So proud of how far our community has come. 🙏
