Sad news. A teacher who really cared and invested time and interest in pupils.

Hard to reference because the book never made it to print. I put reference on bottom for Penny when she was ill but still persevering with book! This was a joint project between East Lothian Council and Penny and I representing the Maths Recover Council. We learned so much!

I worked with Penny Munn on this and created this document shared. She sadly died before the book was written. The purpose was to refocus on child development that would enhance numeracy as opposed to introducing concepts before child was ready 😊

Preloved uniforms are surely better than new. Love the environment, love saving money and love “shopping” local🤩

The sound of children smiling, laughing and rejoicing in the knowledge that they can hug their loved ones and play normally with their friends fills my heart with joy. This is a wonderful day - you can hear it, see it and feel it!

A little poem to reflect on schooling during lockdown. A huge thank you to our children, families and staff team for their determination, love and kindness to support each other through this challenging time.

We talked about this today. Though we could make a memorial- maybe a cairn? remembering the time we couldn’t come to school. What do you think?
