The one topic on which I suspect we will never agree. The second bit of it, anyway. (I’ve never particularly understood why “progressive” was the modifier chosen for this style of rock, so I’m neutral on the first bit.)

CSS conforms to Bushnell’s Law: like the best video games, it’s easy to learn and difficult to master. This is truly remarkable because it’s used to express visual design and layout, both of which are difficult to learn and even more difficult to master.

It’s actually unusually quiet for thunder: the snowflakes and ground snow act as sonic dampeners over distance. But when the strike is close by, the thunder is pretty much as loud as ever. (Spoken as someone who lives in an area that gets thundersnow relatively often.)
