Again, false. There is only funded space to hold 2.5K families who by law can only be detained for 20 days with their kids. +23K crossed in October alone. They make up +40 % of border apprehensions.

It should have been called: Set up to Shatter or Disposable People. But sheer human will necessary to keep oneself together. Too many details of humanity didn't make the piece, like the dude who got a job selling donuts on the street. He resisted despair. His donut was delicious.

In court this morning, I asked the judge if my client could wait outside. She was being fussy. He said yes, and she was carried out. Even then, I could hear her whimpers and cries. She’s two years old. She had on a pink coat. Today was her hearing.
