Our new preprint is out: https://arxiv.org/abs/2006.08471 . We analyzed serum samples of 4,326 contacts of SARS-CoV-2 index cases in Italy: 69.1% of all infected individuals aged <60 years develop neither respiratory symptoms nor fever @Unibocconi @FBKcom @RegLombardiapic.twitter.com/Z2UmGnT0YT

Good Q - interested to hear too. Some PCR tested at time of index case in household. Rest were serology tested 4 weeks later. Symptoms they looked for were fever / cough, so we don't know about other symptoms which are now recognised eg anosmia, myalgia.

It's co-infection with anaerobic bacteria. See @sanchak74 for a wealth of evidence that this is a version of Lemierre's syndrome, but with different bacteria (eg. Prevotella). Everyone is so focussed on the virus, no-one is looking for the cause of the fatal symptoms.
