Well they sure need to make sure that employers are protecting their employees and mandate mask! Not pass legislation to protest business against employees that get sick from being on the job,

The 8 states that didn’t lock down are very rural, very low population density. That probably helped. We are seeing surging hospitalization rates in AZ, FL, TX and cases rising in a majority of states right now as states open up.

Ones that have not had a lower instance of infection to begin with. The very bases of the statement is flawed. There are a great many variables applicable to any comparison which are left out. At best, this is an extremely poor job done by the writer.

This mixes cause and effect. The states which remained open did not have reason to lock, mainly because of low population density.
