Hi, thanks for getting in touch. We’ve visited the area and the smell appears to be due to an old dry dock which hasn’t been used for a while. We’ve reported this to Chatham Marina who are dealing with the matter.

New pedestrian crossing points are being installed at Nutfield Close and Ash Close, . These will be installed with tactile paving to assist pedestrians who are visually impaired.

Thank you to everyone who took part in the Borstal open spaces society clean up last Saturday, 4 August. 8 people attended the clean-up and collected a total of 16 black sacks worth of rubbish.
