If the individual doesn’t already know what’s in the paper from having taken a significant role in his drafting/editing etc then they should not be an author

2/2 who do not do as well on their first set of exams, are spending all their time studying and think then they need to spend even more time. And we see the use of the same ol’ ineffective strategies..

1/2 We try to raise awareness of effective& less effective learning strategies in first wks of students starting: unfortunately it is often met with little interest and a “we already know how to learn”. Somewhat disheartening when as faculty, yr on yr we meet many students

there is limited time &space in UG curriculum so certain things have to be prioritised over others. Plus,it's possible for certain skills to be acquired later, as &when. e.g. surgeons can perform ops laproscopically...yet weren't taught "laproscopic anatomy" or techniques as UGs.

Highly recommend this as a non-PhDer! - was a great source of support just through reading others’ experiences

Just recently submitted my dissertation for masters. It was a hard slog- but stick at it :) The feelings of elation after it’s finally done are great
