A digital only subscription to the newspaper reporting that the government is planing to abolish the licence fee is, at £312, more than double the annual cost of the licence fee. That's one newspaper for £312-a-year versus *everything* the BBC provides for £154.50. Get it yet?

The PM famously said this was a "people's government". Interestingly, with this new reshuffle, by my reckoning the number of state educated cabinet ministers has gone down by two. So now 68% of the new cabinet were privately educated. That compares to 7% of the population.

Londoners, if you’re struggling today, remember this: Tomorrow you’ll wake up in a European city, where hundreds of languages are spoken and every race, religion, class, country and culture are represented. London will always be European, and London will always be open.

Official government analysis suggests that Boris Johnson’s Brexit deal will reduce annual economic growth by 6.7% compared to staying in the EU. This is a bigger reduction in economic growth than the financial crisis of 2008-2009. Put that on a bus.

Alisson, assisting Salah, before gliding across the entire length of the pitch like a 6ft 3in Olympian sprinter, is an iconic moment for the ages. A normal goalkeeper holds on to the ball in that scenario. But he isn't normal. He's the best there is.

This figure, if accurate, would surely exceed the 47-year total of our net EU contributions. Now that the Brexit vote is irreversible, I wonder what will replace the unicornist nonsense that honest journalism & analysis is some sort of Remainer conspiracy.

And I will say it again: Johnson is a coward. Whether fleeing Scottish crowds via a back door, hiding in a fridge, avoiding a climate debate or an ⁦⁩ interview -Johnson is only here for the pomp and is a shirker of responsibility.

Guy Verhofstadt has returned to the idea of Associate Citizenship. Please add your name to our letter to Boris Johnson asking him to bring the country together by offering an olive branch to those who value their EU citizenship.

No Boris Johnson, you do *not* have a “powerful people’s mandate” for your miserable Brexit deal A majority of people voted for parties which opposed that deal and were pledging to put it back to the people in a second referendum

URGENT CALLOUT We are so close to making history. So close to making Boris Johnson the first PM to lose his own seat. But we need more volunteers! Come out to Uxbridge in the last hours: 📍 Uxbridge HQ: Friends Meeting House, Corner of Belmont Road and York Rd, UB8 1QW
