It has almost been 3 and a half years since I participated in the Candlebird project in St Andrews, Fife in 2016. It was an extraordinary experience thanks to the workshop leader and ('s associate composer) for making it such a memorable experience.

I’ve been fairly convinced for a while that Sarah & Duck is the best thing on telly, so somehow this episode of actual musique concrete adventures was no great surprise. Good times.

Great to read about the project from the perspective of a contributor! Really touched that the recording stitched together from 21 versions of me and my violin will be played at the Memorial Service in Lanark tomorrow.

Thanks Stuart! Sorry I got tied up at reception...free wine and I'm clearly still not properly a grown up... Also got into very animated discussion about just how fantastic the last movement of Beethoven 8 is...!

Is there a nicer way to spend your afternoon than building up microtonal chords note by note with the strings? (Answer: no, obvs. Paradise 😊)
