As a result of the Spectrum project, we now have common standards for our core components, including keyboard, contrast and assistive technology API support. We’re planning to land the AT API data in an update, to reflect work that’s already done at component level.

This was our first official inclusive design project. (In fact, I started working in it before I moved over from the accessibility team.) Spectrum enables SO MANY current and near-future projects across our products. Thanks to the entire team for their support and hard work.

Is the work done yet? E.g. these tabs have no role or selected state?

Spectrum CSS is CSS-only (...). Adobe maintains separate JavaScript libraries written with React, Angular, and web components that use Spectrum CSS to create fully interactive Spectrum components. These libraries will be open sourced soon.
