No, it uses vanilla systemd (for ops familiarity) and upstream binaries. But we've had our eye on the great work maturing kubeadm, and specifically the phases; will look to see how it could integrate.

Yes, Puppet (master-less) for CM, Terraform for infra. We're working on a bare metal impl soon so docs will improve in this direction.

Don't hold out any hope of a single penny of compensation . It's 1hr+ with , at least on the GWR line. They're compensated afaik by , whilst we lose out. It's an outrage.

Not GraphQL but we've built a UI for a product with Elm, querying the API for our CRDs. Pretty slick.

Two days in town with a team adopting cloud and on-prem for gaming. Lots of whiteboard and Q&A; rolling updates to to CRDs. Loved it. Real world use cases, close customer engagement and OSS is where it's at .

As per my original q, when is this shortage expected to be alleviated?

A shortage of units or a shortage of staff? Services were previously 10-car but recently seen many 5-car services. Hence capacity has completely regressed (vs old stock), yet fares remain the same.

Another 5-car IEP from Paddington and people standing throughout, no ticket reservations, no trolley service (on a hot day). Fancy refunding half my ticket for the half complete service and telling us when the service (you're contracted to run) will be complete?

Yep, that'll be super cheap but don't skimp on the instance type too as there won't be much that is allocatable! 's offering will be even cheaper, but yet to launch?

A *new* train that has a fault - already? What's the ETA on it being fixed and reinstated? Weeks ago it was also a 5-car service. How long are we subject to this sub-par service?

The onboard staff apologised but cited no reason for the "inconvenience". There are so many people onboard *no-one* can move - including the train staff and catering trolley. Terrible service from Bristol and Bath. /cc

This morning, is it a shortage of one or the other, or both?

Yet again , less carriages than normal on this IET to Paddington. 5 instead of the 10 it's meant to be. People standing as there are few unreserved seats. Why the continued lack of service? It was like this weeks ago.

Or if you want a kubectl output, you can use kubectl get pods -o wide. Shows the nodes that pods have been scheduled.

I was told (by DM) there's a 'shortage of IET units'. Not sure why didn't want to share that here. Sure many passengers have a shortage too, of funds, to pay the exorbitant fares - how about we pay half?
