David Davis' comment that Brexit 'will not plunge Britain into a Mad Max dystopia' goes into my category of statements like "No lumps of fat or gristle" and "We didn't burn him"

What the Good Friday Agreement is: An agreement between different people on the island of Ireland, that has enabled children to grow up in peace What the Good Friday Agreement is NOT: Something that can be undone by hard Brexit extremist Tory MPs to enable their scam

Is there enough “remain” or atleast “soft brexit” Tories to sign the alternative letter? I’ve heard talk about it - well now its time to break cover and save the country from these extremists. Do nothing and a very hard Brexit is coming.

This is important. The ERG is a party within the Tory party, with a few dozen hard Brexit Conservative MPs basically holding the PM to ransom. She lost her mandate for her Hard Brexit on June 8th 2017 but they are threatening to bring her down if she doesn't do what they say.

David Davis is right to say that he will not plunge Britain into a “Mad Max dystopia”. Any space lord with a cursory knowledge of human culture can tell him he means Mad Max 2.

I guess I didn’t pay much attention apart from the 69-70 side because they represented a whites only team and I couldn’t care. But of course reality more nuanced

Well the universities might have to threaten to close all the science departments as uneconomic. Great.

Just in Blackpool, saw a guy & woman shouting then fighting. A copper turned up but instead of calming things down he starts twatting the guy with a baton! The guy gets the baton and starts hitting the copper AND his wife! Then this crocodile turned up and stole all the sausages.
