Interesting read until I found out no mention of Mozilla or Firefox is anywhere in the text. As if all innovation came from chrome. I feel like reading something else right now

From 1995 MS was releasing a new major version with killer features every year or two. Until IE6, when there was no competition and they had a break for a few years. IE was the last big browser to do CSS2.1, SVG, transparent PNGs, or basically any of the things we loved in 2005.

Today we're in danger of that same stagnation under Google, who outright denies service to alternative browsers, deliberately sabotages Edge performance on Youtube, and shows Firerfox 2nd-class SERPs. Rapid *version iteration* but Google doesn't care about us devs any more.
