*freelance work* BBC World News (watched by 100 million ppl worldwide) are re-opening applications for our freelance producer pool. This is currently the only way for people external to the BBC to start freelancing with us as TV news producers.

Honestly I laughed at this graphic when I first saw it, and now it's my primary means of understanding Brexit. 😳 I also appreciate the catharsis for whatever BBC data journalist just needed to write FAIL in red letters as many times as permissible.

But for reference I could have done with like 60% less Jude Law and 400% more Gemma Chan. Can. We. Talk. About. Gemma. Chan. In. This. Movie 😍

Then I realised how excited *I* was to see all of that. It's equally relaxing & baffling to watch a leading woman get through a whole damn movie where her choices aren't questioned every 5 seconds. Larson gets to play witty & confident in a way only usually given over to men.

So I think Captain Marvel was for me what Wonder Woman was for a lot of other people. Actually got fully emotional in the cinema thinking how excited I was for my niece to see a woman be: - smart - funny - physically strong - fully clothed - single FOR THE ENTIRE MOVIE

The white press needs to stop labeling every Black person they've never heard of as a "forgotten" person. Just because you ignored us doesn't mean we forgot ourselves, our people, our history or our destiny.
