Nope, you talk about collaboration. Co-creation is including the customer = audience in the process of creation.

What is semantics to you to me is the serious question where the place of customer! is in creative process. Huge difference.

can not agree to that regarding collaboration. And, IMHO the customer is not a prerequisite for CoCreation...

Co-creation is not normal market research, and makes a different point, which is including the client explicitly in creation?

yup, e.g. in the wiki definition,creating your own Nike design is co-creation. Makes it easier to grasp.
