A search for a swimmer feared missing at Shark Bay at Evans Head has been suspended. The Marine Rescue Evans Head crew members who had been on the water since early this morning are returning to base. No one has been reported missing and crews have found no trace of the woman.

Volunteers from Marine Rescue Evans Head are scouring the ocean searching for a female swimmer feared missing from Shark Bay, near Evans Head. Conditions in the area reported as deteriorating.

A search is resuming this morning for a woman feared missing after going for a swim at Shark Bay at the entrance to the Evans River on the NSW North Coast about 7.00 last night. A crew from Marine Rescue Evans Head was on the water until just before 10pm and is heading out again.

Volunteers from Marine Rescue Port Kembla & Shellharbour are scouring the Illawarra coastline as part of a multi-agency operation to find the owner of a kayak found overturned at Port Kembla this morning.

Marine Rescue Port Kembla & Shellharbour crews are searching for a possible missing person after an unattended kayak was located at Honeycomb Rocks at Port Kembla. No one has been reported missing. The kayak could have been blown into the water by yesterday's southerly buster.

UPDATE: The divers feared missing off Botany Bay this morning have been located safe. The NSW PolAir helicopter spotted the divers. The crew from Marine Rescue Botany Port Hacking has been stood down.

UPDATE: A crew from Marine Rescue Alpine Lakes has been stood down after it was confirmed no one else was in the water on Lake Jindabyne. A tinny overturned earlier this morning and the boater made it safely to shore.

A crew from Marine Rescue Alpine Lakes has deployed after a tinny overturned on Lake Jindabyne. One person has made it to shore on an island at Rushes Bay on the lake. It is not known at this stage if there are others in the water. Police, NSW Ambulance & SES also responding.

Emergency services have responded to a fishing trawler that has run aground on Bermagui Beach at Camel Rock this morning. All crew on board are reported to be ok. Water Police, Surf Life Saving, NSW Maritime and the NSW SES are on scene.

Two crews from Marine Rescue Middle Harbour are escorting a boat that has sustained significant damage in a collision with another vessel 4nm off Sydney Harbour back to Mosman Bay. The 2 crew & 10 passengers were wearing lifejackets & are not believed to be injured.

Marine Rescue Lake Macquarie has today celebrated the opening of its new landmark Search & Rescue Coordination Centre on Swansea Head. Police & Emergency Services Minister David Elliott opened the $18.m facility, purpose-designed to keep boaters even safer on local waters.

Two crews from Marine Rescue Ulladulla are under way to rescue 2 people stranded on a disabled jet ski off Kioloa. The riders are safe & wearing lifejackets but unable to provide an accurate position. Rescue vessels Ulladulla 20 and Ulladulla 30 will mount a search to locate them

Deputy Commissioner Alex Barrell has presented Commissioner's Citations to Marine Rescue Shoalhaven volunteers, Mike Boadle & Brian Earsman, for rescuing a couple suffering carbon monoxide poisoning on board their grounded cruiser on the Crookhaven River in the dark in May.
