so? Why outsource on this critical & core Govt responsibility? And what safeguards were put in place? What training was given? What supervision?

No Andrews has the answers. His Govt outsourced the duty. His Govt chose the contractor. Were staff trained? Supervised?

agree, but why on this CRUCIAL govt responsibility, with serious questions over whether basic training and supervision happened. These are matters within Andrews knowledge, and he should say what happened on the Govt end. you read this?

3. Devastating for Andrews Govt if correct. Question - since Federal Govt is responsible for border control, why did National Cabinet outsource to the States? And why didnā€™t Feds do oversight? Way too late to ā€˜stress testā€™ after Vic debacle.

this is a calamitous error. We were on track to be a world leader in dealing with the virus. The Victorian Govtā€™s failure to organise competent quarantine is an awe inspiring failure of governance.

if Andrews doesnā€™t know or want to know the actions of his own Govt in this calamity heā€™s not a real leader.

Jack Iā€™m not talking about what contractors did. I want to know why the Govt outsourced quarantine, and why it chose the contractor and what training and supervision it did, if any. Iā€™m after info on the Govtā€™s actions, what the contractor did can await the inquiry, I agree.
