I thought having a GraphQL data layer sounded cool, and initially I used the WordPress source plugin to transition my site to Gatsby. One of my first tests was to see what happened with JS off in the browser; I was very pleased it output static HTML pages by default

In case you missed it, will be at Sunriver near Bend, Oregon next summer! What a beautiful place to go. And I hear it will be very kid-friendly🌲

Every time I drive through Madras, Oregon, I think of this guy since that’s where he came from. Miss you, Wally

That’s true! Subtweets are often about someone specific (or in my case, more than one person). I do think there’s a valid point about systems that favor senior candidates. But one also can’t employ juniors successfully without people available to lead them 🤷‍♀️

In my opinion: not in the abstract, but calling out a specific company and therefore the people who work there, yeah!

Possibly, but there are also plenty of people with anxiety and depression who don’t act unprofessionally

lol. I will say being petty on one's own feed is not a big deal...they are our own spaces, after all. But @'ing a company and complaining about someone else's job announcement is a no go 🙅🏻‍♀️

Yes, this! _Every_ bit of communication is noted, as that’s part of someone’s ability. Even on Twitter, and especially in DMs and over email. Also: 😄🤔

That seems reasonable given the app can be inspected prior. I also wasn’t comfortable hiring someone who didn’t take 10 minutes to run a Quick Start before an interview

Trying to get a job? Be professional, not petty. I can’t begin to tell you how bad the latter looks.
