Simplicity is a great virtue but it requires hard work to achieve it and education to appreciate it. And to make matters worse: complexity sells better.Dijkstra

The simplest way to sell more, for a customer from $500-$50,000: Sell faster. - Simplify your contract - Get the contract out within 15 minutes of the call - Don't create review in legal - Make pricing simple & fair - Don't force someone to talk to a BDR if they don't want to

I guess that what makes a huge difference are the massive 8MB L2 cache that Apple chips have. IIRC with Intel chips this cache sizes are only on high end Xeon chips for servers.

The way chat has infiltrated the modern workplace is a damn tragedy. Worse is knowing how long it'll take businesses to wake up to the damage. The open office has been discredited for decades, yet shows no signs of slowing. I fear the same will be true of chat.

"Windows 95 was 30Mb. Today we have web pages heavier than that! Google keyboard app routinely eats 150 Mb. Is an app that draws 30 keys on a screen really five times more complex than the whole Windows 95?" **Must Read** :

I say this to parents at school. The fat tech cats make their billions off you giving your children the latest tech gadget while they fill their houses with books.
