Those duels are actually the main purpose of the game and bring up a huge load of satisfaction once such a duel got won. 😈

that's absolutely true. pair coding including those "pls give me the keyboard for a moment" situations with german keyboard colleagues became nearly impossible :).

Switched from ger to eng keyboard 2 years ago. Of course, at first I needed to get used to it, brain memory needed to be rewritten. Today I'd say it's a bit more comfortable to write code, but I'm not sure if I'd do it again, as the german kb totally does the job too/equally.

The evolution of my programming knowledge: 👩‍🎓 College: Programming is easy. I know so much. 👩‍💻 1st Dev Job: I want to learn all the things! 🥔 Now: I know nothing. I am a potato with arms sitting in front of a keyboard pressing buttons and hoping it works.

If you’re looking to level up at work, consider focusing on understanding your product instead of just focusing on pure technical prowess. It’s more important for a senior product engineer to understand product constraints / user base / metrics than nitty gritty technical detail

I worked in Marketing and ProductMgmt for quite some time. My wish to build own projects without spending too much money for development "forced" me to learn how to code. At that time I wasn't aware that programming is sth I'll start to like a lot. Now working as a frontend dev.

Big fan of your graphics and website. I'm absolutely interested in how you built it using Gatsby. Is the code open source?

OH, it even gets better now :D! Your stuff must not sell any goods to us (like i.e. something to eat) as "your company does not allow this". Honestly I don't know whether to laugh or to cry. Better I laugh, crying is already done by all the babies and kids in here.

As the weather is fine, planes are departing and arriving like crazy, that's just a poor approach to consider extraordinary circumstance when it's about to argument against upcoming refund requests.

Sorry Julie, but that's some big piece of bullshit. Besides your flight tracker, our human eyes is another way to get access to a situation.

why the hell don't you depart flight EJU5727 (that stands at TXL for 2.5 hours in the meanwhile, including us passengers)? no, don't tell us because of the (not existing) thunderstorm and traffic control restrictions like you do on your own flight tracker.
