I don't learn theory, I usually try to do small projects to learn anything but I easily get distracted and start doing something new and that's why I don't feel that I have accomplished much.

I think I need to track it not only on twitter but in a spreadsheet or in a special Github repository.

Tracking time is pretty easy, but I'm not able (yet) to plan how much time it will take me to do a project or even to go through a tutorial. What if I start having a bug that I can't locate? I can spend hours looking for the solution, how should I track it?

Yes, I have a problem with writing these small goals because I'm not sure what should I do to achieve them. But it might be useful to rewrite them often. I have to work on a new habit.

How do you monitor your goals? I've 1 goal divided into smaller ones but whenever I want to do sth it occurs I need to learn other things too and then I lose the track and have plenty of unfinished projects and the feeling of failure.

Nothing worth doing is easy. But if you think really hard, then work reasonably hard, you can get it done.

Book or Linux? The book is Linux Utilities Cookbook by James Kent Lewis and it's pretty old, published in 2013. I have Ubuntu 18.04 but the author uses Fedora.
