On 6/28 at 7:30 pm, the John Funkhouser Quartet debuts at Cadenza in Freeport. Funkhouser’s music is eclectic, with influences from South Africa, the Great American Songbook, Appalachia, India, New Orleans, ‘70s progressive rock and modern jazz.

The 17th Festival of Art opens at the UMaine Hutchinson Center. On May 30 from 6:00 to 8:00 pm, there will be an opening night reception featuring the Belfast Bay Fiddlers. The exhibit continues through June 2 and features the work of 120 Maine artists.

The Casco Bay Tummlers take the stage at the the Saco River Theatre on Friday, May 24 at 7:30 pm. The Tummlers have been performing Klezmer music since 1988 and have released three recordings and were featured performers on the LL Bean Holiday CD.
