What tutorials are you refering to? I haven't really released anything I'd call a tutorial. Or do you mean you find the documentation covering every single tool from A-Z in narrated video form hard to follow?

You can position your mouse where you want to add the decal, BEFORE you open the pie menu.

I need a new decal type for that, I call them textured decals. Maybe in 2.1

Usually Phillip would assign it to someone I think, and then things tend to get fixed rather quickly. As for my performance issue, I think it's related to the bump node again, as I've reported earlier. Unfortunately that seemed to have been acceptable and so just got closed.

If sb. has a few minutes, I'd appreciate it if you could reproduce this bug and comment about it on the tracker. Thanks!

None of these require different trimsheet treatment as far as I can tell, so they will work fine.

That's a sweet little addon idea, easy to do as well.

What tools help you do this on other 3d apps? There are baking tools that help you organize/name your low and high meshes. There's is also BatchOps, and of course collections. There's also a batch rename tool in 2.81 now. In the end, a complex asset will always need som work IMO

Any non-trimsheet tools you miss?

I'd suggest you just start looking at the code of some addons, start with simple tools at first. That's really how everyone gets started.
