If you are given freedom to work on impactful projects, it's easier to be impactful. We rarely talk how big of a privilege it is at top-down companies.

I don't know who needs to hear this, but: In 2020, with COVID, the recession, the job-market, schools-closed, etc. etc. etc. success means just getting, by day by day by day. Free yourself from the pressure to achieve self-actualization -- at work or at home.

Let this be an opportunity to build resilience. "six million hectares of cultivatable land in Britain, only 168,000 hectares are used for fruit and vegetables. As a result, we have to import vast amounts of crops we could otherwise be growing."

I've seen almost identical graphs explaining natural flood management. If you Slow the Flow and Attenuate the Peak, the water - or virus - doesn't overwhelm the defences at the bottom of the catchment. Same principle, same maths.
