Oops! Sprung! I've only written 161 words so far, too, which isn't nearly enough, so I'd better get back to it now!

Sometimes creativity just is, and analysing it or attempting to explain it can't do it justice. It's intellectualising something that's emotional. Like trying to explain why you like a certain type of music or a certain colour. You can't always explain it; it just is.

Oh god, I have so many responses to all of this, but I'll start by saying how nice it is to read all of this!

Thank you! That's really kind of you to say! I always feel like an imposter, being unqualified in the literary arts (or any of the arts!) as I am. It's flared up recently, and I'm seriously considering applying to do a Masters or something.

Really? That's interesting! My book is written in Australian, and would probably need translating into English for the English! ๐Ÿ˜‚

You've gone all 'Adam's' family! ๐ŸŽถ (I know it's meant to be spelt with 2 X 'd', but I was trying to be clever and use your husband's name! ๐Ÿ˜) (It is 'Adam', isn't it? Now I'm doubting myself!)

I could write a thousand young adult novels and still never come up with a protagonist as cool as this 16-year-old horse thief, two-time jail escapee, and self-taught violinist from 1922.

I visited the blog of the wonderful and answered a million questions on topics such as day dreaming, favourite authors, planning novels, solving writers' block, filling my creative well, and lots, lots more. Oh, and she wrote a lovely review of my book!

Absolutely LOVE this photo. Jacinda rocking both her puku and that korowai. Iโ€™m so proud of her. Heck Iโ€™m proud of Clarke too.
